School-to-Work

General Information

• School-to-Work is a program that assists young people in moving from a school setting (high school, vocational school, technical college, university, or adult education) into the world of work.
  
• School-to-Work is not an employment program!

• School-to-Work combines school and work experiences in order to assist young people in making career choices, while giving them both the skills and experience to succeed in the workplace.

Is School-to-Work for me?

If you are a young person under the age of 25 and are attending high school, vocational school, adult education classes, technical college or a university, School-to-Work can help you by:

• Help you explore career choices and choose the type of career best suited to you;
• Provide you with educational skills and work skills needed to prepare you for a job in your chosen career; and,
• Provide you with work experiences that will help you succeed in your chosen career.
