State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES) E-Response

If you conduct business in South Carolina and often have to submit information about unemployment claims, we have a new tool to make your jobs easier.

If you do not have an account with South Carolina Business One-Stop (SCBOS) or you usually submit information by paper, you can now use a free secure electronic system called the State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES) E-Response. This application allows you to respond to information requests, attach documentation and receive a date-stamped confirmation receipt.

Note, if you already have an account with SCBOS, you can automatically respond to requests for separation information through that site. Visit www.scbos.sc.gov.

Your time is valuable, and SIDES E-Response will help you cut down on paperwork and follow-up phone calls. Plus, because SIDES is a nationally-standardized format, you can communicate with multiple states in which you do business all with the click of a few buttons.

To sign up for SIDES E-Response in South Carolina, please register to setup your account.

Once your account has been activated, you can access SIDES E-Response at https://uisides.org/. Choose separation information, enter your Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN), State Employer Identification Number (SEIN), and Personal Identification Number (PIN).

If you have questions, you can access the user guide here.

If you have previously been using the Employer Reply Online Response survey, you will need to sign up for a SIDES E-Response account to respond to all future requests for separation information.  Please register to setup your account.

If you have questions about SIDES e-response, please contact UI-email-ER-Registration-DL@dew.sc.gov.
