Occupational Outlook and Wage Data
In October 2007, the
Palmetto Economic Analysis and Research System (PEARS) was removed form
the SCESC Labor Market Information (LMI) website. While in operation,
PEARS provided a range of statewide and local information related to the
economy and labor market.
We are continuing to provide the latest state and local information
available in a variety of other formats. Many data sets are already
accessible via our website, and we constantly strive to add new and
useful information to our site. In addition, we provide custom data
products and reports, upon request.
We are pleased to announce the release of detailed occupational outlook
and wage information for the state’s 12 Workforce Investment Areas (WIAs).
These data files provide estimates of occupational employment and
Job Outlook to 2014. Included are estimates of openings, growth rate,
and wages for a wide range of occupations. The Job Outlook reflect a
variety of factors including economic trends, industry growth, and
changes in technology.
Please contact the LMI Department to provide feedback or to find out how
we can help customize this information and other related data to better
meet your needs.
