The National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) is pleased to announce our annual conference! It will be held in historic Charleston, South Carolina on September 15-19, 2008. Approximately 250 people are expected to attend.
About the NASWA Conference
NASWA is a national organization of state administrators of unemployment insurance laws, employment services, training programs, employment statistics and labor market information and other programs and services provided through publicly-funded state workforce systems. Members include representatives of all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The mission of NASWA is to strengthen the National Workforce Development System through intelligent information exchange, liaison and advocacy.
The annual conference is an invaluable forum to share innovative ideas, policies and best practices that can be applied to the attendees’ own circumstances and used to improve services in their home states.
