Insured Work

Insured work means services performed for an employer who is covered by the South Carolina Employment Security Law.

 

Insured Worker

An insured worker is an individual who has been paid wages for insured work in a base period equal to or exceeding one and one-half (1½) times the total of his wages paid for insured work in the quarter of such base period in which his wages for insured work were highest. Provided however, that no individual shall qualify as an insured worker unless he has been paid at least $900.00 in his base period for insured work and $540.00 in that quarter of his base period in which such wages were highest.
