Unemployment Compensation for Ex-Servicemembers
Your may be eligible to receive benefits under the Ex-Servicemember's Unemployment
Insurance Program if you have completed your first term of service and have an honorable
discharge, or if you have been discharged for one of the following reasons:
- Governmental convenience;
- Medical disqualification (pregnancy, parenthood, or any service-incurred injury or
disability);
- Hardship;
- Personality disorder or ineptitude (only if service was continuous for a period of 365
days or more).
Report all military service to the local Workforce Center where you file
your claim for benefits. You must present your social security card and Member 4 copy of
your DD-214 Form, Report of Transfer or Discharge, when you file a claim for benefits.
