To access Specific Account Information, you will need your South Carolina Employment Security Employer Account Number and your PIN. Your PIN can be any number you choose that will be easy for you to remember. You may use any "4" digit number except "0000" or "9999". When calling the voice response system, you will be instructed to enter your employer account number. You will then be asked to enter the "4" digit number you chose to be your PIN. It is very important to remember this number as the same PIN will be used each time you call the voice response system. The PIN is for security reasons. If you forget your PIN, access to the system will be denied and you will be instructed to contact the UI Tax Department for assistance.

No Employment Reports:

The Employer Accounts Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System provides the employer the ability to file a no employment report for the most recently completed calendar quarter if the employer has had no employees and paid no wages for this specific quarter. You must enter your Personal Identification Number to access this transaction.

The Employer IVR System will give a confirmation number that is used to verify that the no employment report has been filed and accepted by the South Carolina Employment Security Employer Accounts System.

940 Certification Requests:

The Employer IVR System provides the employer the ability to request a 940 Certification. You must enter your Personal Identification Number to access this transaction.

The system will allow the employer to enter the tax year by using a 4-digit number. This document will be mailed to the employer’s tax address as indicated in the Employer Accounts System.

The Employer Accounts System will only allow for (1) 940 Certification request per day. If additional 940 Certifications are needed, the employer is advised to call back the following day.

Contribution Tax Rate Inquiry:

The Employer Accounts IVR System provides the employer the ability to inquire on their contribution tax rate for the most recently completed calendar quarter. If any other contribution tax rate quarters are needed, the employer must call the UI Tax Department. You must enter your Personal Identification Number to access this transaction.
